RESIDENTIAL SURVEYS
Before entering into an obligation to purchase a property it is important to be fully informed as to its condition and potential for any repairs. We offer the following surveys:
LEVEL 2 HOME SURVEY
O A Chapman & Son undertake RICS Level 2 Home Survey Reports, which are in standard format. This professional advice and guidance enables a purchaser to make a reasoned and informed decision on whether to go ahead with buying a property. These reports are typically suitable for more modern dwellings and flats, and are usually produced within five days of receiving instructions. The report can incorporate a valuation if required.
LEVEL 3 BUILDING SURVEY
Additionally, we undertake RICS Level 3 Building Surveys, which may be appropriate for older properties, especially where there has been neglect or where there are ominous signs to give cause for concern. We use our own bespoke style of report, which is tailored towards your requirements and the building itself. A Level 3 Building Survey is lengthier than a Level 2 Home Survey and provides more detailed advice in connection with any repairs required to a building. A valuation may also be incorporated into the Building Survey.
COMMERCIAL BUILDING SURVEYS
